POLIO 2013

This short documentary series narrates the stories of people whose lives have been affected by polio in Pakistan: Qari Aqeel, a Madrassa teacher and a polio affected who is working to spread awareness about the importance of vaccination; Gulnaz, a polio vaccination worker whose sister-in-law and niece were killed during rounds to inoculate children; Farooq, a young boy with polio who is training to be a religious scholar and intends to use his position as a community mobilizer to raise awareness about polio vaccinations.
